There always seems to be something new to learn about boats and boating related topics such as navigation, repairs, the waterways, destinations as well as rules and regulations. Whenever members get together the conversation often revolves around these topics and the information shared is invaluable.
Following on from our successful “Preparing for Summer” online event back in September, we are proposing to run a regular “Discussion Session” on the 1st Tuesday of every month. These nights will be a great opportunity for skippers, first mates and families to log in from the comfort of their home or boat, ask questions, provide answers, and share information and ideas. We plan to also invite experts along to present on various topics from time to time.
What might these topics be, well, that is up to you!
During our first event we will seek ideas from members, but to get things started a couple of things I would like to know.
-What is the best way to keep clears clean and remove scratches?
-Why are some of the bays full of big yellow jelly fish and what is their lifecycle? (this might be one for an expert guest speaker).
-What weather conditions are best if heading up into Brisbane waters from Broken Bay?
Grab a glass of something, fire up the Zoom and join in at 7:30pm, Tuesday the 2nd of February.
Please RSVP and we will send you a meeting link.
