About Our Instructor
Our member, Rod McGibbon, who is a First Aid Trainer with a wealth of experience including the Surf Life Saving Association will lead the session.
Topics Covered
Rod will guide us through treatments for common boating-related injuries, including:
- Stings
- Snake bites
- Oyster cuts
- Burns
- Severe sunburn
- Heat stroke
- Heart attack
- Basic CPR
- Use of a defibrillator
This interactive session will feature practical tasks and ample time for questions.
Dinner
Pizza will be served to satisfy your appetites. Please feel free to bring your own drinks.
