Annual Raft Up - Cottage Point Kiosk Lunch and Floating Cinema

Hello Members,

Our Annual Raft up is upon us again over the weekend of 11 - 13 November 2022

Now that the boating season is officially open, come and enjoy a weekend raft up in America Bay  lunch at Cottage Point Kiosk and a floating big screen movie Saturday night.

Catch up for a relaxing weekend on the water with fellow BHCC members. Sit back and enjoy the serenity of America Bay or join in for some fun activities. 

Arrive when it suits you from late in the week or if you can’t make the whole weekend, call in for a day or a few hours, we’d love to see you. Give the “Bobbin Head Fleet” a call on Ch 72 on approach to America bay.

Our favourite local restaurant “The Cottage Point Kiosk” will again be our Saturday lunch destination. They serve some amazing dishes.

Friday Night:

We’ll kick off with a traditional sausage BBQ (the club will supply the sausages, salad and bread).

Saturday:

Maybe enjoy an early fish, bush walk or long slow breakfast. At midday we’ll jump onto a couple of boats for the trip upriver to The Cottage Point Kiosk.

Saturday Night:

MOVIE NIGHT !  Grab a few snacks and drinks and sit back to enjoy a movie on the floating BIG SCREEN  (weather permitting) 

Sunday:

Bring some morning tea to share with the Commodore, then free time and head home whenever suits or stay on into the new week.

 

What to do next:

1/ Please RSVP on link below ASAP as we need to confirm restaurant numbers by Friday 4 November.

2/ View the Cottage Point Kiosk menu and be ready to confirm your lunch selection when requested in early-November (we require lunch selections by Wednesday 9 November). The kiosk is both licensed and BYO wine.
