Details
Monday 21 June at 7pm will be a perfect opportunity to listen to a short presentation and ask questions on our local Marine environment.
BHCC members are invited to join Dr Andrew Niccum, Scientific Officer at the Sydney Institute of Marine Science for an informal discussion about the estuarine ecology around Bobbin Head and around Sydney. SIMS is the leading marine research institute in New South Wales, and was founded to create a focal point where scientists from across Sydney could work together to undertake world class research and build solutions to transform our urban marine environments. Some of the projects SIMS scientists are working on in the local area include restoring seagrass meadows in Pittwater, and understanding changes in coastal environments’.
Gather the crew together, grab a glass of something, sit back and join Dr Niccum and BHCC members in an online Zoom event.
Full event details will be forwarded through to participating members by 20 June.
Please RSVP on button below and we will send you the Zoom link on Monday night
