      Bobbin Head Cruising Club has a tradition of supporting worthy charities and community needs.  In recent times the club, during 2004 - 6
      raised funds for the purchase of much needed sofa beds and equipment to the Hornsby Hospital Children's Ward,
      Over 10 years the club has also raised over $90 thousand dollars for the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation.    In 2009 a research grant was
      made by CCAF  to Dr Degu Abebe a dedicated young researcher to further his work on a Cure for cancer.

      This would not have been possible without the support of many generous club members donating their time and effort to the club.  Many
      of the local trades people on the marina have also supported the fund raising,  and in recent times,  larger corporate sponsors have
      come 'on board' to support BHCC members in their fund raising activites.   We are proud to recognise these sponsors here and recommend
      that in turn,  you support them for their community spirit and generosity.
