CRUISE THE EAST COAST TO THE WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS 2013

Yes,  that's Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, and it's better in reality than all the post cards,  about an hours cruise from Hamilton Is. There are good overnight anchorages just around the corner.        You've bought the boat,  got the dream,  so now it's time to make the commitment - let's go cruisin to the Whitsunday Islands on your own boat.     Chartering is fun (and expensive) but what they don't tell you is that there are many places you can't go on a charter boat,  and if the weather turns,  then you're locked in to your charter period - prices start at around $1000 a day for a bareboat - do I need to go on? ...
You've already got a great boat!
so why not enjoy a leisurely cruise,  in company with other vessels and experienced skippers,  up the NSW coast exploring places like Newcastle Harbour,  Port Stephens,  Port Macquarie,  Coffs Harbour,   Yamba on the Clarence River - even cruise up to Grafton if you want! - Then on to the QLD coast to places like Southport, Surfer Paradise,  Mooloolaba,  the Great Sandy Straights behind Fraser Is. up into the Coral Sea to Rosslyn Bay Yeppoon and on to the Whitsunday Islands.    2013 will roll along quickly enough,  so now is the time to start planning the trip.   The cruise is envisaged to commence July/August 2013 and proceed in easy stages up the coast, berthing boats at local marinas in between cruising legs.  To express your interest email this link. .......

Don't delay or say;   "Oh,  I'll do that one day",  because you know what?

                                      "One day never comes"

The cruise will be done in easy stages with plenty of time left for 'weather windows'.  Boats can be left at various marinas along the coast until the next leg of the trip.  The main thing is to decide now if you want to be involved in the planning stages - which are great fun and an education in itself,  getting together to talk about the itinerary and planning cruise stages,  even if you don't end up doing the cruise this time,  the experience will be invaluable for the time you do plan your own cruise.

Participating vessels may need crews for various stages up the coast,  so even if you don't wish to take your boat,  there may be berths available on other vessels.
This is a chance to participate in a trip of a lifetime,  register your interest now!
